TEACHERS DAY
MANPAUR, MADHUBANI,
INDIA
SEP 5-2015
On the eve of 54th
year of teachers day Special celebration is conducted by RADHA KRISHNA MISSION, MANPAUR to honour Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
and to encourage the contribution of teachers to the society.
Since 1962, India has been celebrating teachers day on 5th
September as a symbol of tribute and to
honour the contribution made by
teachers to the society. This day is
marked as a day of gratitude and to respect
the selfless effort of teachers.
This day is celebrated to honour Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher,
academic philosopher and India’s second president. As he was born on 5th
September 1988 he decided that instead of celebrating his birthday separately
he requested the students to observe the day as teachers day to give honour to
all the teachers of India. This appeal
demonstrate his love for the teaching profession .
The quality of students lies in
the hands of teachers. Teaching is a profession of great responsibility because
they mold the career of the students. Teachers put great impact on growth,
development and well being of the students and the nation.
Last but not least, one message from RADHA KRISHNA MISSION MANPAUR:-
1.
Education should become a force for the
nation’s building.
2.
Children can contribute the nation in many ways
for ex:- maintaining cleanliness, saving
electricity & water and preserving natural & wildlife resource.
